Under the Twisted Forest: Writing Retreat

This is a holding place for a potential, yet still hypothetical day long writing retreat in Santa Cruz. There is a possible location in Nicene Marks, near the Twisted Forest (picture coming soon, current photo from the short hike to location), but it does require a somewhat tricky stream crossing to get there. Should we chose a more accessible location?

There are picnic areas in Henry Cowell, for example, that are quite close to parking locations, without a stream fording required. I will start taking photos of nearly every picnic table I come across now. You have been warned! (But, the event name may stick, even if we are not doing it near the Twisted Forest area of Nisene Marks.)
