Shut Up & Write!™ [Home with Virtual Check in]

Hi All,

Join us without leaving your house! We’ll have a virtual check-in at 10:00 AM using Zoom. We write silently and feverishly from 10:15 to 11:45. At 11:45 we reconvene to talk about how our writing went. If you are not able to check in at the end, please tell us about your writing experience in the comments section, below.

Shut Up and Write welcomes any project, any genre, whether you’re an author pushing through your first draft, a grad student working on their dissertation, a blogger polishing a post, or anyone needing to set aside some time to start/finish/resume a writing project. No one will see what you’ve written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

The link to join the zoom meeting will be provided when you RSVP.

If you haven’t used Zoom before it will ask you to download and install some software. If you’re having technical problems, please click on my name in the Hosted by Nancy Pyzel to send me a message. The system uses your computer’s camera and microphone so make sure those are working. You may also need to adjust your speakers.

Here’s the schedule:
10:00 – Check-in and tell us what you will be working on.
10:15 – Start writing (we shut down the meeting and write on our own).
11:45 – (Optional) Check back-in on the same link and tell us what you accomplished!
