Shut Up & Hike! [Write then Hike: Nisene Marks]

Write with us at Pete’s Coffee, or through Zoom. If you join us in person, there is a optional, bonus walk afterward.

A Zoom link will be emailed to everyone that has RSVP’d, on the day of the meeting.

After a delightful writing session on Pete’s Patio (or indoors, if you prefer), everyone is welcome to join a hike into the forest of Nisene Marks! We will go through a less used entry at the end of Aptos Rancho Rd. From there, we will meander through Marcel’s Forest and the deep redwood forest along the creek.

11am – 11:15 — Check-in and coffee.
11:15 – 12:45 — Write like your hair is on fire.
12:45 – 1:00 – Check back in: How did it go?
1pm — Hikers head out for a rousing hike.
~3:30 — We return to Pete’s, and drive home for a nap (just kidding, you will be thoroughly energized!)

The Hike: Based on those who come, this can be a short hike, <2 hour, or a longer route of ~3 hours. Also, if we take the longer route, you can always turn around and head back according to your time availability.
