PG Coffee & Clean Up with Blue Zones Project

Join the City of PG, Blue Zones Project, and Captain + Stoker for a morning of free coffee, giveaways, raffle prizes, meeting your neighbors, and cleaning up Jewell Park and Lover’s Point together.

Please bring your own reusable coffee mug to reduce waste!

Date: Saturday, December 10th

Time: 9am – 11am

Location: Meet at Jewell Park in Pacific Grove at 9 AM (Central Ave & Grand Ave)

Schedule:

• 9 AM – Check-in at Jewell Park with your reusable coffee cup and receive a free BZP shirt. Followed by mingling with your local neighbors, and hear from the City of PG (including City Councilman Chaps Poduri), BZP, and Captain + Stoker, about making healthy choices easy and fun in the community. Plus a quick coffee grounds composting demonstration.
• 9:30 AM – Walk to Lover’s Point for clean up activity (part of the group will stay at Jewell Park to clean up and then head to Lover’s Point)
• 11 AM – Event concludes, attendees receive a special 10% beverage discount at Captain + Stoker for the rest of the day

If you have a trash picker/gloves please bring them or we’ll provide ones for you to borrow.

High school students will receive community service hours for volunteering.

All participants under the age of 18 must sign (and have a parent or guardian sign) the Blue Zones Project and City of PG volunteer agreements prior to the event and email back to: Rachel.Thompson@sharecare.com
