Deli Pack Drive Thru

Formerly the Kosher-Style Lunch with individual sandwiches made and sold, it has been reconfigured into a drive-thru event. We sell the “fixins,” and let the customers make their own sandwiches and meals. 2024 marks the 68th year of this event. It is quite the Salinas (and now Monterey) tradition.
The Deli Pack consists of a pound of either Pastrami or Corned Beef, a Loaf of Rye Bread, Salad, 4 Dill Pickles and 1/2 of a Chocolate Cake. We have the pastrami and pickles shipped in from the Midwest and East Coast. The salad, bread, and cake are locally sourced. Each Deli Pack feeds about 4 people, depending on your appetites. Cost is $39.
Pickup is available in both Salinas and Monterey. Advance orders can be made on the website, or by calling the Temple. We encourage people to use the online ordering system, as it has been streamlined for 2024. Purchases can also be made in person or on the phone. Ordering in advance is recommended, as the event usually sells out.
