Dried Wreath Workshop

November 30 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Learn how to create beautiful, long-lasting dried flower holiday wreaths with Beth Benjamin. She will demonstrate the mechanics of putting everything together and will have a couple examples to guide your inspiration. Personal artistic style is highly encouraged! You’ll be able to choose from a wide selection of dried materials from the UCSC Farm and other sources. With care, your wreath will last for years. Light refreshments will be served and the atmosphere promises to be jovial, creative and social.

What to Bring:

Flowers, snips, pruning shears or scissors if you have them. Wire-cutters may come in handy, and if you have some special decor or ribbon you’d like to include, please add that. Bring your holiday joy!

About the Instructor:

Beth Benjamin’s horticultural life started with Alan Chadwick in the original UCSC student garden. She has worked as a horticultural advisor for Shepherd’s Seeds and Renee’s Garden and has designed dried flower wreaths for Camp Joy in Boulder for over 40 years.
