DESCRIPTION:This holiday season\, I Cantori di Carmel invites you to a special celebration with Magnificat\, a festive Baroque Christmas concert featuring the works of renowned composers Johann Sebastian Bach\, Marc-Antoine Charpentier\, and George Frideric Handel. \nMusical highlights include Bach’s Magnificat and Gloria in excelsis Deo\, alongside Charpentier’s vibrant Messe de Minuit pour Noël and Handel’s Utrecht Te Deum. The dance-like rhythms and festive melodies of Charpentier’s mass will have patrons swaying in their seats\, while Handel’s Utrecht Te Deum brings an exuberant touch to this musical celebration. The concert will feature talented soloists from I Cantori’s Vocal Arts Academy\, accompanied by the wonderful I Cantori chorus and orchestra made up of local professional instrumentalists as well as players from across the country joining this special program.
