Shut Up & Write!™ Sunday Evening Sedulites

Welcome everyone!

(A sedulite is a person who prizes diligence, perseverance, and assiduity.)

Since SUAW has gone online I have benefitted from the discipline of attending far more meetings than meatspace allows. It turns out Sunday night is not favored by many, but I was looking for just such a time. 6-8pm is the working time slot, but this may change according to participant input.

Follow-up on how you did after your writing session via the event page comment section is always encouraged.

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, zine, resume, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you’ve written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

Where is the link to the Zoom Room? On the event page under the “Online event” header.

SCHEDULE:
6:00 pm (zoom meeting starts) – we go around and give quick intros, what we plan to work on.
6:15 pm (time varies by size of attendance) – time to “shut up and write” for the remaining time. (the zoom meeting ends at this time)
8:00 pm (zoom meeting restarts, same link) – join the closing check-out session, or just keep writing. Take satisfaction in having done some writing tonight!
