Coastal Commission

Coastal Commission is a roots reggae band local to the 831 whose sole purpose is to bring vibrant live music to the Monterey Peninsula. We blend contemporary and classic covers with a modern sound. Our band is comprised of four members whose goal is to inspire a light-hearted, family-friendly atmosphere for all to dance, drink and be happy. Ryan Sesma is our lead singer and rhythm guitar player, Chris Lopez is our saxophone player who is a renowned jazz musician gone reggae having played with many professionals in the industry, Coey Douthette who is known for his smooth and heavy bass lines, lastly Rick Standish who blends modern rock and reggae on the drums.
